Partial credit
There are occasions when a participant has to leave a program early. Speech and Voice Enterprises will follow ASHA's CEU policy fully. If a participant is not eligible to receive a full (.6) credit, an adjustment will be made and their CEU certificate will be sent no later than 14 days after the program date. The program participant will be eligible to receive (.1) credit for every hour of programming. For less than one hour, no credit will be offered. For example, if a participant signed up for a (.6) program but needed to leave 30 minutes early they will receive credit for a (.5) CEU program. The same also applies for late entry. Verification of credit will be supported by the sign in and out sheet that is supervised at all times. If they leave early, they will sign out and the time will be posted. This information will be placed in the handouts and visible on the website under the course information. Speech and Voice Enterprises is committed to honoring and maintaining the integrity of ASHA continuing education policies and procedures. |
